Code of Conduct…

As we want to make our space as friendly and inclusive as possible we do have a code of conduct which we expect everyone attending our groups and events to adhere to to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.

Be Respectful of others

  • Treat everyone with kindness and respect.

  • Be patient with new players – we all learn at our own speed.

  • No bullying, harassment or exclusion of any kind will be tolerated.

Communicate Clearly & Kindly

  • Be mindful of your language – we have players of all ages and backgrounds – some words/jokes that may seem appropriate to you may not be to others.

  • If there is a disagreement talk it out calmly, or ask a host for help.

  • Avoid overly competitive behaviour – no one likes a arrogant winner or sore loser.

Play Fair

  • Follow the rules of the game (or decide as a group on house rules)

  • Don’t cheat, bend the rules to your advantage, or pressure others to play in a certain way.

  • Let everyone participate – don’t dominate decisions and over talk others.

Respect the Space & Games

  • Be mindful of food and drink near game materials.

  • Handle all components with care and return games in good condition.

  • Remember we are guests in our venues, some of which may be church rooms, and therefore must uphold any rules set by the venue to respect it.

  • Accidents do happen – if something does happen to a game, it’s not the end of the world, just let a host know about it.

Zero Tolerance for Harassment

  • Harassment includes, but isn’t limited to;

    • Offensive comments or behaviour,

    • Unwanted physical contact,

    • Discrimination of any kind,

    • Repeated disruption of the event or games.

  • Anyone violating these guidelines may be asked to leave, with or without warning at the discretion of the host.

If you have a problem, don’t hesitate to come talk to a host, we’ll be happy to help. Thank you for helping us build a friendly, inclusive gaming community. Now let’s play!
